We all know how difficult it is for Mothers and Fathers to get "in the picture." We always think that we don't look good (this month) or that we'll do it after we lose 10 pounds. But in reality, we're just uncomfortable standing and posing for photos.

I love family portraits and ALWAYS encourage Mom and Dad to get in the photo.

We recently returned from a fantastic week at the beach. Is there a better vacation for 2 boys (ages 6 & 2.5)? The weather was perfect and we were out-side from morning to sunset.

I found tons of great photo ops and I took full advantage of them! I only shot Black & white film and can't wait to print them and paint them. I'm hoping to finally put together the "Beach Collection" I've always wanted to display. Look for more details in the near future.

We're offering  a special sitting package for children of all ages with their mothers and/or grandmothers.

My grandmother passed away this winter at the age of 95. We were all really close with her and visited her often in Minnesota both growing up and recently as she got older.

Spring has to be the best season in Kansas City. After the horrible Winter what could be better than getting outside and enjoying the beautiful colors of Spring.

I love shooting outdoors! It's a challenge to find the perfect background that's not too busy to take over the subject and yet interesting enough to bring the subject outside.
